❗️ Turkmenistan Airlines Starting May 30, it will launch regular flights from Ashgabat to Kazan, local media report. This is the first flight between the countries after covid.

Flights to Kazan will be operated every Wednesday, the cost of a one-way flight 130 000 rubles. According to Orient, tickets have already appeared at the sales office in Ashgabat. The current price of Turkmenistan Airlines is several times higher than for flights from Kazan with two transfers in Moscow and Istanbul. In addition, only citizens of Turkmenistan or those who fly to the funeral of close relatives will be able to use direct flights.

Turkmenistan now does not accept tourists: visas are not issued due to the pandemic. But even in normal times it was not easy to get a visa. The package of documents should have included an invitation from a citizen of the country or a travel agency, the cost could reach 150 dollars, but even if all conditions were met, more than 90% of tourists were refused, writes ATOR.
