This was stated by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Reyes Maroto in an interview with Onda Cero.

According to her, travelers from outside the EU who are not vaccinated with WHO-approved drugs will only need to negative coronavirus test.

“We will no longer require a vaccination certificate to allow unvaccinated tourists with a negative test to enter,” Maroto said.

In May, the Spanish government extended the current restrictions on visitors from third countries until 15 June. Without a European certificate of vaccination, official entry for tourism purposes for tourists from countries outside the EU is closed.
